Baton Roots exists to cultivate a more sustainable and equitable Baton Rouge by reconnecting communities to the land, their food, and one another. Through regenerative urban agriculture, hands-on education, and community-led agroforestry initiatives, we grow not just fresh food, but stronger neighborhoods, empowered youth, and resilient ecosystems. We believe that access to nutritious food, green spaces, and environmental knowledge is a right—not a privilege.
