This spring, The Walls Project is thrilled to announce a series of hands-on volunteer opportunities that will empower local communities to support school gardens, student murals, and the growth of future food forests across the Denver metro area.

🌱 Lansing Elementary (Aurora, CO) 4/14-16 Mural Preparation and Garden Beautification Project
Join us as we prepare two large mural activations alongside two talented local muralists (Juls Mednoza and Sandra Fettingis) and beautify both garden courtyards. Volunteers will assist with prepping the space and enhancing the garden environment. After the volunteer events at Lansing Elementary, students will spend the week of Earth Day painting both murals alongside the muralists and planting starters for the growing season.
🌿 Garden Place Academy (Globeville, CO) 4/14 Garden Beautification Project
Roll up your sleeves and help us prepare the garden beds by spreading mulch, enriching soil, and removing weeds and invasive shrubs. Your work will help create a clean, healthy space for future planting and student learning. The Preservery Foundation will be helping with garden preparation, while The Birdseed Collective will be turning the garden's shipping container into a vibrant mural with students.
