• Expand Baton Roots, not only by growing more free, fresh food and deepening community engagement, but also by broadening high school and youth programming through Hustle & Grow, developing local composting programs, and advancing community-based agroforestry initiatives that Baton Rouge urgently needs. Together, these efforts will strengthen our local food system, equip young people with real-world skills, and build long-term resilience for our neighborhoods.
   

• Help us create a permanent safe space for our after-school Culture Club, a place where youth can learn, create, and thrive. This location will serve as so much more than just a gathering space, it will become a hub for creativity and opportunity. It will provide secure storage for our mural arts supplies, offer a fully equipped makers-space for hands-on exploration, and open the door to possibilities we can’t even fully imagine yet. From arts and technology to mentorship and community-building, this center has the potential to become a cornerstone for youth empowerment and innovation.
