Culture Club Returns to Madison & Lincoln High!

Students from Culture Club socialize in a positive way after school.

We’re geared up for another exciting semester of Culture Club at James Madison and Lincoln High School!

This year kicks off with some incredible news: Lincoln High has risen from a D-rated school to a B-rated school, and Culture Club was one of the after-school programs credited for helping make that transformation possible. We’re proud to be part of that success and even more excited about what’s ahead.

This semester, we’re bringing back fan favorites like Let the Beat Build, where students explore music production, and our partnership with Texas Trees, introducing students to agro-forestry and landscape architecture. But that’s just the beginning!

We’re also launching two brand-new programs:

  • Sight & Sound: The South Dallas Art Club – A six-week intensive series of art workshops designed to help students build professional portfolios for college and career readiness.

  • Dallas Free Press – A hands-on introduction to journalism and podcasting, giving students the tools to tell their own stories and strengthen their voices in the community.

With more programs, more mentors, and more opportunities, Culture Club is growing into a true staple of South Dallas. We’re building pathways that empower students to shine in the classroom, in college, in careers, and in their communities.

Get ready...this semester is going to be one for the books!
