This year’s Fall Fest brought together 219 attendees for a day filled with creativity, learning, and community connection.
We welcomed 13 vendors, including the EBR Public Library, Line 4 Line distributing free books, Baton Roots' Hustle and Grow sharing plants and vegetables, and the Audubon School of Baton Rouge, which set up next to our Kid Zone. Posh Pop offered their gourmet popcorn, while other local vendors provided a variety of food and goods throughout the day.
Guests enjoyed seven art stations, featuring activities such as an all-day ceramics class, cyanotype printing using sunlight, pressed flower art, recycling paint buckets into planters, and rock garden art. Each station encouraged creativity and hands-on participation from attendees of all ages.
Our farm activities were also in full swing, including fall crop planting, mulching, and bed care. The highlight of the day was the Johnson Su Bioreactor activity, which drew strong interest from participants eager to learn about sustainable composting and soil health.
A special thank you to Myra Richardson of MPACT and her dedicated team of volunteers, who supported our event and helped ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the day.
Fall Fest 2025 was a wonderful success thanks to the collaboration of our partners, vendors, and community members. We look forward to building on this momentum next year.
