Celebrating a Summer of Growth: Hustle and Grow Summer 2026

We wrapped up another incredible Hustle & Grow summer semester by celebrating our participants with certificates, food, and time together to recognize all they accomplished over the past several weeks.

Throughout the program, teens gained hands-on experience in urban agriculture while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. From planting and harvesting to learning about sustainable food systems, each day on the farm offered new opportunities to grow.

As the semester came to a close, students reflected on what the experience meant to them:

“Hustle and Grow has helped me understand nature better because it really shows how the plants really dig deep.”

“Before starting Hustle and Grow, I expected it to be kind of boring, just walking around and stuff, but it turned out to be very fun and very peaceful.”

“I would describe Hustle and Grow to another teenager as a fun, lively experience that everybody should be able to enjoy.”

Thank you to every student who dedicated their time and enthusiasm this summer, as well as to our staff, partners, and supporters who make this program possible.

Congratulations to our graduates—we’re excited to see where your next chapter takes you, and we hope you’ll always remember that growth begins by putting down strong roots.
