Futures Fund Tech Academy: JOLTcon 2023
Saturday, April 22, 2023, will be the beginning spark of many yet untapped potentials. Teens from all over the greater Baton Rouge area are invited to attend JoltCon to discover their pathways to careers in technology, the arts, and startups. Lunch will be served to registered participants.

About the event
Teenagers are trying to calculate their trajectory toward adulthood. JOLTcon 2023 will be a two-fold event. Part Hack-A-Thon competition for a grand prize and part workshops to activate teens towards the future of careers. JOLTcon is an event designed to allow teens to learn from professionals about the future of the workforce in the creative and tech fields. Workshops will cover topics as:
- Doing what’s never been done before
- Discovering the link between what you love and how to create a career doing it
- Leveraging technology for future workplace skills
- Not letting labels define you
