High teen birth rates

Truth Hurts

1 in 4 teen moms will go on a welfare benefit program within the third year of their child’s life. Teen mothers are less likely to finish high school. Many of them have a much slimmer chance at completing any level of higher education. This can prevent them from attaining higher paying jobs resulting in unstable incomes to provide for their children.
